Nevermind! Problem fixed. I just rebooted it
Hi dear friends!
My name is Marcel and I do have a slight problem with my SonyEricsson P900. I tried both the search-function at this forum and the P900 instructionbook and I couldn't really find something related to my problem at all.
I first noticed my problem while opening a photo. I could open it, but I could not see the photo just an error picture, a red X. Then I tried to make a new photo, and when I did this a little window popped up saying:"Out of memory". I also get this message while trying to open some applications. Okey I thought, let me delete something. I then opened the storage handler to be surprised by that the P900 itself claimed to yet have 4.4MB of memory left. Then I turned on my PC, plugged in my P900 in my sync.station to check what the computer could tell me on the P900 memory issue.
On information for my P900 I found that the memory itself is: 11.08/15.59MB. And the Memory Stick Duo is: 3.02/30.91MB.
I have yet not done any sync. but a securitycopy.
My question is: What is the memoryproblem with my P900.
Thanks for any answer that might lead to an easy ending of this problem
Marcel
P.S. What is really a sync (not the station), and what does it do? D.S.

this probably doesn't fix it but you could try updating the firmware.
Additionally, if the image image is too big, it still wont open in some situations.
e.g. I had a 900 kb image, it opened fine but I got the out of memory message when trying to edit it.

What u've run out of, dear friend, is RAM. Like any other computer, your P900 has different types of memory. The first type of memory is the equivalent to the hard-drive on a pc. It is where music and applications, pictures and ringtones are stored. You have plenty of this type of space left. The second type of memory is used by applications when they're open. The more applications are open, the less memory's available. By switching your phone on and off, you're resetting that memory: When the phone's turned off, all applications are quit.Got it?

Install Taskman or Sman and compress memory instead of reboot, simple right...
