> New sync station software version

Hi everybody,
anyone tried downloading and installing the new sync station software, release 2.3.1 EN, from the sonyericsson website?
I did, and uninstalled the older version 1.2.7.1, installed the new release, yet when i check the sync station "about" the release is still the 1.2.7.1, and for the backup and restore it is 1.12.1.1
any i dea why it doesn't update?

same thing happened with me
i was doing an online firmware upgrade and it told me my pc suite ver was too old. so upgraded to new one (2.3.1 EN) and ran online upgrade again and it worked fine that time.
but it still told me in the backup and restore "about" that it was
release 1.12.1.1
so...dunno!
it updated something, but didnt change the version number.
i have noticed that the file transfer speed has increased slightly, but not enough to shout about
