I have just bought a new computer, and I am trying to sync my p900 with this computer for the first time.
IT SIMPLY DOESNT WORK.. THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGE COMES UP... PLEASE HELP!.. i NEED A p900 GURU TO HELP ME OUT.
" You are not authorised for the operation, or the username/password is incorrect" ... now what on earth is this.. how do i resolve it.. please please help.

This is not a problem with the phone as much as it has to do with your operating system..
List:
a) Operating system and version
b) Phone Organiser version
c) Sync version
Also try searching for the answers that you need and you may be surprised to find that several people have posted information to help new users.

Your advice is terrible, the chap was quite right to not bother investigating the problem fully and to simply make a rash assumption about the P900.
It just won't do to go about spreading rediculous notions, such as looking at a problem in a logical manner or trying to sort a problem out oneself before screaming at others.
l'm sure that once you've thought it through you will see how wise the original poster was.

in response to your questions....
1) Win XP - SP1 + all patches
2) R1A05
3) no idea....
The error comes up when i right click and select synchronise.. the box pops up and then just when it is about to initialise i get that darn silly error.
It is confirmed the P900 is complete kack.. and now it wont even charge.... and b4 you ask me scotsboy... yes i checked the charger it is plugged in to the socket.
