in simplified language....... somebody may well be able to smack it into some sort of converter program, but your midi will lose a lot of quality in other words it will sound terrible and is really not worth even trying.

midi files are layers of different sounds - my dad can make midi files he says they are different because they are layers put together and waves are different! (ill ask me dad why! )

completely different to wave or mp3

The simplest analogy I've heard is to think of the WAV file as a recording of an orchestra, and the MIDI file as the sheet music they play from.

If you listen to the recording, you could have a stab at reproducing the sheet music, but it'd sound pretty awful.

When using a midi converter it only guesses by listening to the music so it doesnt get down the right notes etc so the midi sounds absolutely useless so you would be better off making it yourself if you can.

Yes, WAV is completely different from MIDI, therefore you cannot convert from MIDI -> WAV, but you can vice versa
