ok, here is what happened (t610)
when im on campus, i sometimes turn the phone off and turn it on to get better service. no big deal, done it a million times.
when i get back to my apt, i do the same, especially if im getting a weak signal. Well so tonite i turned it off and it wont come back on?!?!
I plugged the chrager in, i get the screen, LEDs, red led, and the rest of the buttons respond when the phone goes dim (aka it brings the charging screen back on). but the phone wont turn on. i dunno if you can turn the phone on while charging, i never tried it, but i assumed yes. right now im fully charging it, any suggestions? all the other threads all lead to no solutions other than take it to a service center (any in US? austin tx)
edit: all buttons seem to work, im guessing battery isnt holding its charge and therefore when i unplug the charger it wont do anything? but why cant i turn it on when the charger is plugged in?

well, apparently you can do the service menu trick while the phone is off AND charging. all of the service tests passed, with the exception of the vibrate, which is battery related RIGHT? someone confirm this with me if possible, cuz it looks like my battery is dead. poly sounds, camera, all those stuff worked (yay)

update: using a different battery, it didnt help it out. tmonile went ahead and are sending me a new one, no idea what this is, sorry i wasnt able to solve this problem as others on the forum have seen to had this same unresolved issu.e
