In the past few days my Pirctures display shows only 2 pictures in the middle of the screen while the name of the pictures is pushed to the bottom of the screen. I could not find any apparent reason for that, especially since the size of the thumbnails is the same. Did anyone experience this?

YES I did. I recently installed Hebrew fonts. Is there any cure?

I'm afraid you'll have to weigh the gains vs. the losses on this one. I recently installed an Arabic SMS program that puts in some fonts and had the same 2-thumb behavior. What killed it for me, however was how the text input with the stylus was becoming so bold and unreadable! I ended up removing the whole package the same day.
It might just be some badly spaced fonts, sloppy programing, or a bit of both.
