> Help P800 File Transfer Problem

How do i transfer my own files to the fone.. like i installed the pc suite.. Now i have my own multimedia to install on fone but how do i do it.. THier is no option to do it.. i can see only the syncronisation thing.. and yeah on my Desktop their is one more Icon Named My P800 but when i double click on it it says that NOT CONNECTED whereas i installed the 2 games from cd to fone.. The COnnection LINK ALSO says connected via USB.. but when i try to install the Ringtones from cd to fone it says seom C++ Error.. and Importantly how do i transfer my own videos and sounds to the fone.. I dont see any navigation method of the MEMORY STICK DUO .. from my pc.. how do i do it.. Plz help thanks

do you have a firewall?

ANd i reconnected the fone to the Cable.. the thing is .. i can install programs from the cd given to me widh p800 from the Auto window that opens up.. but how do i insert my personal files that are in my personal folders on my pc in to the memory stick..

yes, the "my p800" is like windows explorer and lets you browse certain folders in the p800 and the memory stick. if its not firewall related then I'm not sure.
the reason the programs from the CD install is because they are .sis files which are processed by the installer program and not the "my p800", but that is only designed to handle .sis files
unfortunately you are out of luck unless you a) get "my p800" connected somehow or b) buy a memory stick adaptor for your pc (which is a quicker way to transfer stuff anyway)
