We're working on a new messaging product for mobiles - and are looking for some guinea pigs to have a play! You'll be able to use it all free during the trial - all we want is some feedback (if you want).
What's the catch? Err. None really. Give it a go and tell us what you think.
It's only available to T610 and T630 users on Orange and T-Mobile in the UK. But let us know if you want to try it and you're on Vodafone or O2 and we'll keep you updated.
Equally, it may work on other SE handsets on supported networks, so feel free to give it a go.
As a bit more background, we've come up with a fun, new way to message your friends from your mobile - TagText.
It's a small application you download to your mobile. You open it up and create your very own Tag character by changing their look and clothes - each Tag has over 100 different looks! Give it a go and you'll see.
Then, when you’re happy with your Tag, you can give it a mood and send it to other mobiles, along with the text of your choice.
The current website is more about using Tags to Bluejack, so you won't find much there. But if you go here

It's free to download and to send messages for now. Ignore any reminders to top up your account - this will be done
automatically. You will not be charged for these credits until we tell you otherwise. Enjoy!

OK - problems sorted. Free messaging is back on now. Many apologies to all of you who tried to download unsuccessfully.
My technical guys are crawling abjectly around, beating their bodies with birch twigs - and vowing celebacy for a decade if it goes wrong again. I've also offered to tatoo their foreheads with a large pic of a puckered anus if anyone finds a problem.
Now I can't decide whether I'd like it to go wrong or not

"sent you a TagText 2 c it select the following link " etc - No indication of who the message is from!
So I follow the link:-
"unknown Says "Hi!" " - still don't know who it is from!!
