Sony Ericsson's Z1010 ships

3G phone spotted in UK store

AN EAGLE EYED INQreader has spotted Sony Ericsson's first dual mode 3G handset, the Z1010, on offer in his local Orange/3 store in Lostock Hall near Preston, England.
The handset crucially supports video telephony and to achieve this end employs dual cameras and dual screens. Intriguingly this particular handset is not a Symbian device.

Our sleuth was told he could pay £50 for the handset on contract (VideoTalk 500) or £75 on pre-pay (3 Pay). Here's the evidence our informant took with his existing Sony Ericsson T610 handset. µ
