Not rich nor poor....although I tend to have more money than my friends but thats cause they don't work as much.

I don't think it's a matter of rich or poor, but (in general) Americans aren't as into mobile phones as other countries. People in the USA only care about a mobile phone that works and is affordable. But not only business men use the T68, I'm a 16 year-old student in New York City and I use the T68, but there aren't many people in America, or New York City at least, that are as into mobile phones as I am. BTW, my next phone will be the Motorola V70 when it comes out at the end of this month.

I would buy the Samsung V100, but the look is too ordinary and though it has 4,096 colors, the phone will be close to USD$800, which is enough to buy many phones. I'm getting the V70 because of the look, I don't need features since I have the T68.

Sorry, I was thinking of the T100, which I would get if it was triband. I can only use either Triband or GSM1900 MHz mobile phones.

Both pre-paid and subscriptions are available here in the US. As of now, we have three companies that support GSM.

some comments about rich or not

in US and Canada, peeps here dont really care their cell phone. They can happily using motorola T193 and think its cool. tell you what, the T193 is the most shitty phone I have ever used...... it cant be worse.

but it doesn't mean US peeps are poor. Many earning 10,000 us per month, driving fancy car, still using Motorola startac.
maybe cuz of that, we dont have any... really no any cell phone commercials in canada or us b4. except service providers.

so, even I wanna get some cool phones, I could only buy triband from some where else.
