hello people, this thing is really new to me and i would be extremely grateful if someone would help me. i got my p900 about a month ago and only yesterday night i was listening to mp3 music off my 32mb memory stick duo on my p900 and taking pictures that would be saved on it, and when i was doing this soething just messed up on the phone and from then on the phone is really lagging in operating things when i put the stick in and its not reading it, neither is my pc when i put the phone on the cradle thing! i dont know what the problem is?!?! my memory stick was nearly up to full before i was taking pictures and that might be something to do with it, someone please help me?!?! i dont know whats wrong

If you took it out while it was read or writen on it might of corapt duo. Or it might just for some unexplanable reason go dead. Ya it heppens.
Try to format it and hopefuly it will work.
Hope you have backup it not it will be a good leason for a future.

Something similar happened to me after I'd been mucking about with my Mem stick and shoving it in my Digital Camera. Try opening file manager, and then seeing if u can access your external drive at all (if it's not reading the disk then the option should be blanked out). If that's the case, which it was with me, the only suggestion I have is to reformat the DUO card as already mentioned. The way I did this was to pop into a Sony Center, and get them to put my card into a Sony Vaio laptop, so that it could be reformatted from there.....Good Luck

PS. u will of course lose all of your data on the disk, so if anyone has any other suggestions they might be a bit more useful.
