I had a T610 when they first came out but hated it for two reasons.
1. When writing a text message it was unbelievably slow and
2. Setting up MMS and GPRS setting was difficult.
Apart from that it was a good phone but these faults made me switch to the Nokia 6100 which was far easier and quicker than the T610. So has the T630 improved those 2 faults up above or would I be better to get the Nokia 6230?

@kevin how do u mean the setting of mms gprs is difficult? think its the easiest between the fones. why didnt u let it to send u the settings via sms of your operator or provider?

I agree, setting up GPRS & MMS is the easiest on SE phones... SE even has their own configuration site...
I think MMS is so poor on Nokia series 40 phones... and the stupid idea of putting MMS's in the 'outbox' before they send is also stupid...
I agree that the t610 is a slow texter, but i know the T9 changes now, so I can text really fast and the T610 won't forget any words even if I keep typing faster than it can...
However I find that my mom's z600 is faster than my t610... In starting up (the animation is much more fluid), loading stuff, and texting too... Logically I think the t630 would be slightly faster too... But still would not compare to a Nokia phone in texting...

Don't know why you had a problem with WAP and GPRS? I had no problems setting up mine. As for texts, that will be quicker with newer firmware even on a newer T610...
