i have seen 2 kinds of memory stick. 1 is blue yet 1 is white. both have the same text printed on it, MEMORY STICK DUO. but the white one is almost twice the price of the blue with the same capacity. the shop told me that the one is white one is more suited for mp3s. is it true?

? i have the blue one and it works great....
as far as i know the white one has a little switch so that you can't erase anything.... i'm not sure though....
maybe the prices are just old or something....
and i don't know for sure but i think the dark blue one is faster....
anyway i don't know because i only have blue ones..
edit: actually i had a look at the sony.com page and they don't even sell white ones... except if you meant memory stick duos pr0? if so it has to be 256mb minimum and it doesn't work with a p***, but if that's the case it makes sense why is it more expensive and why is it more suitable for mp3s (more memory...)

I have both of them and they are just the same, the white one has a little lock switch, so you can avoid erasing data by mistake.
Besides this lock switch they are exaclty the same, you can use MP3, MP4, Sis file and averything else in both of them.
