Hi there folks!

I don't know why JustYak and cMessenger always crash my phone when trying to connect to their networks. I mean, the phone asks me if I allow them to access the web. i grant it. Then after some Connecting message, the phone restarts!

What's wrong here?

Yours,

Francis

It is because of the poor java suport on t610 (midp 1.0) and that means that the phone is very unstable when you run a java aplet.

I don't think that itself explains it all. Using another simcard, it worked! It must have been something operator-related, or simcard related.

Cheers,

It can be that the sim card was full of messages and numbers. This is a factor that will slow down your phone alot.

nope, the simcard was empty. But that simcard is weird - when inserted, the phone only display its phone numbers, not those recorded on the phone. It seems a bit incompatible with the T610.

@oculos

As I remember, the reason for the phone not showing any numbers stored on the phone when you changed SIM cards is because the phone automatically deletes any data (contacts, SMS-Messages etc.) stored on the phone itself when a different SIM card is inserted - for security purposes.

That applies on sms' not on contacts.I don't know why is that.Maybe it's not the sim but the wap-connection..some operators have good conn and some don't.

Yeah, that's also my theory, althogh it could also be some trouble the program has trying to access the simcard to store data, who knows.
