You mean outgoing messages sent from your phone using o2's SMTP server and your o2 email address? It might be a temporary problem on o2's side, try logging into email and sending an email from o2's website & see if that works.

i couldn't connect to the pop3 server yesterday, but can now, maybe you problem is sorted?
