> Firmware update in NYC

Hey, the firmware on my p800 is like a year old, so I'd really like to update it.. SE told me i have to mail it to a service center for a week, but I don't think i could possibly go that long without it.
Does anyone know somewhere in New York City I could bring it to update the firmware? I've seen people mention that there are places in Chinatown that will do it, but no specifics. If anyone could help me out, i'd be really grateful. Thanks!

i took a trip to europe to update my firmware for my t68i. you should too. just bring it in any store and they do it for free.

. At any rate, you guys sound like rooks. Keep your eyes peeled and you'll find tons of places in NY that'll flash your phone. I flew to Europe to get my T68,T68i,P800, but I got my P900 in the states before it was officially released in Europe. So don't assume it's a dead market over here. Also, don't assume that any stores in Europe will flash your phone for free. There have been several stores that have charged because they are technically supposed to. Flashing is not a necessity (as described by SE) and they are not obligated to spend time on a phone for the average joe off the street. I spend a lot of time in Europe, Asia, and the states and I have to say that all my phone flashing has been done in the states. Chinatown is a good start. If you want to specific places PM me and I'll let you know who to talk to.

sucks but now that i have a p900, i don't have to fly to europe anymore to flash my phone. where did you get your p900 bigfeet was it? well i had my t68i during the days after 9/11 when flying to europe costed less than $300 so i went like many times. once, i even flashed my phone twice in 1 visit since a new firmware just came out. lucky for me. got all them new games too. let me know where i can get me a s700 before its released. thanks
