Hi,

Its awkward chosing a case without getting hands on each and every one. Where can I play with different makes of P900 case ?

Does the piel frama case let you plug the p900 into the deskstand without removing the case ? What problems are there with it ? Do you need to take the phone out of the case to do anything with it ? Can you make calls, use the touchscreen and use bluetooth with the case on ?

Where is the cheapest place to buy it ?

cheers

PF case lets you access everything the phone has to offer with flip on or off. The only time you need to take it out is when you need to place it in the cradle. However, if you are using a cable charger then there is a open port underneath. As far as pricing it really depends on what type of PF case you get. I got my first case about 13 months ago for $120USD. That's because it was made of Crocodile skin versus your standard leather case. With that said, their line of cases is supposed to be in the high-end bracket of device cases because they are handcrafted. Almost any other case you will get will come from an assembly line and therefore more likely be cheaper. So when chosing your case look at these points...

1. Ability to use with flip ON or OFF
2. All ports accessible (i.e. memory slot, camera, data port)
3. Screen protection
4. Pockets for parts (i.e. memory sticks)

Hi,

Anybody interested in swapping a Martin Fields leather case for a Piel Frama case?

The MF case is great with a very tight fitting form factor, but doesn't protect the screen or flip. That's why I would prefer a 'wallet' style case.

I just got a P900 about 10 days ago and I'm not sure whether to get a case or not. The Piel Frama case does look the nicest, but the phone is not exactly small to start off with and this is just going to make it bigger.

I used the nylon bag style case with my P800 - all I really wanted it to do is keep the dust off the screen.

Unfortunately the two cases I got with the phone aren't much use. One is a belt clip one that is no use as I keep my phone in my pocket (I don't want to advertise that I have £500 worth of phone about me), the other was a cheap slide in case that won't allow me to use the flip without removing the phone from the case completely.

Does the Piel Frama case keep the dust off properly and does it make the phone substantially larger?

Received my case today.
First impressions.

Nice leather
Beautifully made
Belt clip seems better than most (i.e. it doenst come off the belt all the time)
Provides plenty of protection
Adds to bulk, but so will any case
Can make calls and recharg without removing the case
They seem to have put real effort into the design

Conclusion (so far) - expensive but worth it to protect an expensive piece of equipment
