> P900 Communicam Problem

Hi guys & gals,
I'm a first time poster, long time P800 owner & new P900 owner.
After only owning my P900 one week, I have a problem with the Communicam. Every time it is activated, the CCD seems to overload or flare. Any bright area shows up as a mutli-coloured blotch - like a 70's acid flash-back or a moving Mandelbrot image!!!
This problem occurs in any of the cameras modes (indoor, outdoor, auto, night, video, etc...) and regardless of any other preferences.
After owning a P800 for over a year, I am familiar with the operation and features of the Communicam so I am pretty sure I have a dud P900.
I intend to take the phone to the Sony Service Centre tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same or similar thing??

No sorry, mine seems to work fine except for if you point it at the sun it shows the centre of the sun as a black spot and not white/yellow. My P800 did this too but nothing else seems too cause it just the high intensity of direct sun.

PPS lets be picky..........it's a Communicorder now not just Communicam!!!
