i recently purchased an AIR2U bluetooth dongle off of ebay, it finds my p800, asks for passkey and connects fine, i can then send files to pc from phone. but the phone is not recognized in the pc suite? any ideas

I have had this with two bluetooth adaptors under WinXP and in my case it seams to interfere with my PC modem. If I disable (or it might be remove) my modem in the System Manager the PC Suit then finds the Bluetooth come ports which I can select & sync OK. If a get WindowsXP to refind the PC modem everything works fine but when I switch the PC on & off again I have to do the same thing again & have not found a way to "lock-in". Under Win98SE everything works fine so with my system it must be something that WinXP, modem & PC Suit don't like.
There is a lot of info on esato regarding Bluetooth connection problems but this trick has cured the problem for a few people if only temporarily.

i just didnt realise you had to open bluetooth network, then choose the com port option and it makes the icon change green
