Not only is synching a problem, but so is backing up. My phone connects, I select backup, my phone turns off, I turn it on and.........it locks up, EVery frigging time!!!! An error message says a connection can't be made.

Don't turn it on yourself.
I leave it till it has finished and it turns back on itself and has never locked up.

er...no. Then I get an error message saying no connection can be made and to turn my phone on!!!!!

I am using backup for P800 and P900 and worked very weel. I am using Sync Software version 2.0.1 over Win2K.

Do you connect the usb cradle directly to the computer or through a usb hub. If I use the latter my phone unconnects randomly and everything I would try to do fails.

I've managed it now. I disabled the sim card pin on start up. Although I've had this activated before and backed up.
