Hi...need some help here!
Im using t610 and it has this ems (e-mail messaging system) function.
Can anyone of you knows how to configure the e-mail service? I dont know if my network supports this e-mail thing. Im a sun cellular subscriber from Philippines......Thanks a lot!(",)

EMS is different from E-Mail. EMS is Enhanced Messaging Service which means that in a text message, you can add either pictures, sounds or both. By the way, Sun Cellular has the capability of using the E-mail function of a phone. Just go to your nearest Sun Cellular shop and let them configure your phone for you. It's usually FREE of charge.

Just got an information from sun cellular a few minutes ago, they still do not configure e-mail for e-mail enabled cellphones, since they were still working up on their wap service. As of the moment, mms over gprs only, we still can't access internet via wap/gprs.

email access is apn dependent...create a new data accounts under Connect/Data Accounts & use minternet as your apn. then set the option to connect using this data account.
Same as connecting it to the net via gprs. just use any working IP gateways.

I tried on checking the thread you told me....unfortunately i did not found it. I tried to look in the asia pacific forum, but hasn't found a thread for e-mail/gprs set-up for Sun cellular subscribers. go to menu Connect-> data accounts -> then create a new account w/ minternet as apn.
then go to messages-email-options-connect using the data account you've just created...then get the email settings from your ISP or Email provider.
for gprs go to page 6 of the sun cellular thread & look for the post by Dlreyes

hi jowie, i can't make it work talaga. It says wrong IP address, though i tried using all the IP address that can possibly make it work. I read the thread from start to eand.....and yet..nothing make it happenned.
Please help on this....Im using sony ericsson t610. I can't even surf the internet...huhuhu... help me please!

Try to call hotline. And ask there if he can you send e-mail settings for your phone.
