I too have seen loads of the images that I personally have created on websites all over the place. At first I was seriously miffed about this but I realised that there is absolutely no way to control the problem. My web site has an image submission facility just like many others. There is nothing to stop ordinary users copying an image from one site and submitting it to another.
Occasionally I come accross a site that is just a blatant leech from others. These are the bad boys. But again, I leave alone. After all, most of the images are copyright material anyway (company logos etc).
There, that's my tuppence worth.

I'm not saying that I have the copyright on the images, just that many new sites provides the same images found on existing websites. When we first set up this site, we had to create the logos ourself. There was no sites out there to copy from.. Today most of the images added to Esato come from user submission. And we don't have no way to find out where the images come from either.
Keep the images and good luck with your site.
