can anyone help me i forgot wot the circle and triangle in the top left hand corner for as i just got it for my colection again.

I think he means that little icon in the corner of the display of the phone! This means that there's a voice memo recorded on the phone. To get to it, go to extras> voice memo> memo list. This will bring up a list of the recordings, which you can listen to or delete. I think that in order to get rid of the icon in the display you have to delete them if you no longer need the memos.
