Hi,

I have just published TTI Football version 1.21. It is available on www.smartmobilegames.com and should filter through to the other websites soon.

This new version will run significantly better on the P900 and I would recommend you upgrade if you were using an older version of the game.

Thanks,

Tom

Hey, that's great to hear.
One question, if I install the updated version will I lose my saved league game?

Oh, and does the new version still run properly on the P800 or would the older one be better?

i assume the update was purley an asthetic change and makes use of the 65k display if you were to install it on your p800 you'd probably sufffer from having the colours messed up.

That's what I was thinking. Not a problem to me but I know a few people with the P8

I've just updated.
My saved game is fine.
I think the game runs smoother, mainly when the camera moves arourd the pitch.
The players look a little pale though!! The white men seem to be actually WHITE!

Does anyone know what is the purpose of the two little arrows inside green boxes in the top left corner of the screen during a match?

The game will run exactly the same as before on the P800. The new version will happily switch between 12bit and 16bit colour depending on your phone. So P900 owners will also get slightly better colour reproduction than before.

Your saved games are quite safe when upgrading to new versions.

The two icons with the arrows will move your players slightly up or down the field. So if you're confident that you won't need your defenders too much, send them all towards the opposing goal.

OK, here are some slightly annoying things I've noticed in the new version!

- All teams have half their shirts yellow with the other half being their normal colour. This even includes the goalies!

- The halves end 1second early! e.g. in a 5min game the 1/2time whistle blows at 2min29sec & full time at 4min58sec!

- When trying to pass to another player sometimes the ball just stays on the floor where the player passing it was stood when he kicks it & doesn't actually go towards the other player. This happens most with short passes.
