Does anyone know the GPRS web settings for Vodafone on a p900??
If you know where i can get them, that would be great too.

go to the sony ericsson configurator for P900 here, or you can start from the support page to look at a few other things.

the vodafone website in your country should provide a similar service.

as I can see you are in UK here is what you need for the P900

for GPRS/wap (to use with the inbuilt browser)
go to control panel, connections, internet accounts and click new
enter account name (I used Vodafone WAP)
leave connection type at default value of GPRS
click on advanced
ensure "username and password required" is ticked
set username to wap, password to wap and address to wap.vodafone.co.uk
click done twice and you are indeed done!

for GPRS/internet (for email and Opera and other applications)
go to control panel, connections, internet accounts and click new
enter account name (I used Vodafone internet)
leave connection type at default value of GPRS
click on advanced
ensure "username and password required" is not ticked
set address to internet
click done twice and you are again indeed done!

edit: btw if you do this and it does not work then probably you need to call vodafone and get whichever of these is not working activated on your account. Vodafone customer care are often confused at the difference between GPRS/wap and GPRS/internet so be patient but forceful

Thanks guys, turns out that, as i suspected there is no automatic configurator for GPRS web. The settings have to be entered manually as i now remember doing on my p800 a year ago..(before it was stolen!). masseur had the right idea but my settings were slightly different, there was a username and password. Also, my apn was not registered for access to the web. Thanks for the help!
