Hi

Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find anything on the subject...

I installed Philips Camcorder and after deciding i didn't like it..I uninstalled it from the app menu...BUT it came back with, 'problem occured uninstalling program...access denied'.. The program has gone from the application list but it's still there in the uninstall list...Has anyone else encountered this..and does anyone know how to fix ither get rid of it all together. I rebooted the phone but no luck..

Thanks for any help

Jon

Sorry to bump this but I'm still puzzled...

If I did a Master Reset would the original programs that came with the phone still be there?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks
Jon

I do believe that your initial problem stems to the fact that the program was running when you tried to unistall... maybe you could try some reverse psychology on the thing... reinstall the program in question... ensure that it ain't running and then uninstall it again, only properly this time...

That will mean that you won;t have to master reset the phone as the offending program will be eradicated... if you do take the master reset route though remember to back up your phone contacts and any important information etc...

If you master reset/format/whatever, then the main programs will still be on the phone, though you will lose the ones you have added, and as mentioned, your contacts and notes etc. will disappear...

No problem M8...

To be honest I felt a bit sorry for you as no-one else had answered your question... and to be fair, it was something I feared when I first got my phone too...

Glad things are all fine and dandy now...
