My P900 and file manager on the PC tell me that I only have a few hundred k of memory free of the 16mb internal memory. But when I look at the files (whether the actual files via my PC, or the overview on 'storage manager' I am using under 2mb for messages, a bit for Opera and not much else. I have a couple of small mp3 ringtones but nearly everything else lives on my 128mb memory stick - but even if my phone has only just booted and hasn't run any apps, storage manager says theres only 1.1mb free.

By the time the phone has run for a bit this figure falls, so I can be writing a message, try and send it, then as it tries to save it in sent items it stops to say I am low on space and do I want to try and clear up or whatever. But I can't see any files on the phone to remove! All my apps (some are big ones like tube map etc) are on the memory stick. If I remove the memory stick I can't get to the apps, images and movie files because they are definitely not on the phone itself.

If I go into the uninstall menu it lists my apps, about 7.6mb of them. Sounds about right. But below this menu it says 'total storage 15.6mb, storage in use 14.5m, available storage 1.1mb.

I think for some reason it is adding up my apps, assuming they're on the phone itself, adding to the system files and saying OK there's nothing left. But, there is! Either it's wildly misreporting the available space, or installing the apps has left some massive temp files which are completely hidden from me. Anyone had this before?!
