You can only use your t610 as a FAX-Modem. So you still need a Fax or PC (with fax-software)

A PC is necessary. But first of all, ask your operator have the data/fax function active for you. You may get a new number dedicate for incoming fax possiblly if you need.

this next call feature will set your phone how to handle a incomming call when you dont have seperated numbers like phone-data-fax on your mobile. When you have data-fax enabled on your account you dont need this feature because the phone will regonize the incomming call. But you still need a pc or fax. Some providers offers a fax service which will save all recieved faxes (on your mobile fax number) on the system and allow you to print those when your at home where you connect your phone to a fax.. its not possible to read a recieved fax on your phone

Or you can store the fax like your voicemail and just fwd it to any fax machine.

I've check my local service provider, DiGi Telecommunication, which they said my T610 can receive FAX directly from T610..this feature is currently called UMS and unfortunately, this service only for Postpaid user..
