welcome to Esato
its been a while since I had a p800 but assuming it still the same as p900 try this.
click on the contacts icon
click on contacts menu and choose contacts manager
tick the select all and click the delete button
(sorry if its not the same on p800)

P800 doesn't have 'Contacts Manager'.
I don't know of any way other than a Master Reset or maybe some 3rd party software. There are several apps to manage contacts, take a look on
www.my-symbian.comor on ur P8
wap.my-symbian.com is easier.
U could try doin a backup in future of the phone with everythin u want on it except contacts, then a restore of this would effectively delete all contacts without resetting everythin else.

Okay,, cool..
What about 'Format Disk'? Is that the same as a 'Reset'?

I think Format Disc is just to format the MemoryStick Duo, at least that's all it does on the P9.
Master Reset will just do the phone & not the Duo.

okay, last question (sorry)..
Will a master reset all the default apps? like chess etc? i mean what exactly does it delete?

Master Reset will erase everything on the phones C drive & put all phones settings back to default make it like it's new out of the box but I think u can choose not to erase user installed apps.
I'm not sure if by reset default apps you mean replace them or erase saved data etc.
I don't think it replaces them but u'll probably lose saved games in Chess for example.
Don't worry about asking more questions, that's what this place is for!

if you delete all your contacts in outlook(or any software you chose).. and then sync your phone with your pc it should delete al your contacts. Deleting all your contacts in the computer is easier than deleting them on the phone.
