you can pay via switch card on paypal, not sure if that applies to you though.

don't think switch is international.

You can use any other credit card on Paypal as well ( I use a Mastercard for example) and you can use debit cards provided they are issued by one of the big credit card companies (ie visa debit card yes, visa elektron debit card no) and there is sufficient cash in your account.

or you could just do a wire transfer

I always use cheques because they can be cancelled and it very safe.

Can you sell anything on Ebay without a credit card as i want to sell my phone but cant because i only have a visa electron and Ebay dont accept it?

Visa Electron is accepted by PayPal.
@gardar: If you are buying from someone with lots of feedback, I wouldn't worry about losing your money. Giving you a good service is worth far more to them than 1 bad feedback comment.

look at there feedback is it 100%, and see whether the positive feedback is for them selling or buying and take a look at the items they have sold. you'll get an idea then. be wary if there just buying from others and are selling low value items.....

personally i would go for a cheque as its pretty safe

WHAT COUNTRY DOES THE PERSON LIVE IN. THERE ISNT MUCH EBAY CAN DO IF YOU DONT GET THE PHONE. THEY ARE BASICALLY THE MIDDLE MAN.

ASK THE SELLER TO GET POSTAL INSURANCE UP TO THE VALUE OF THE PHONE AND USED RECORDERED DELIVERY.

IF YOU DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD THEN USE A CHEQUE FROM YOU NORMAL BANK ACCOUNT, THIS IS IF THE SELLER ALSO LIVES IN YOUR COUNTRY.

IF NOT YOU WOULD HAVE TO USE A INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDER OR BANK TRANSFER

DOES THIS MAKE SENSE
