i decided to download agile messenger. well it didnt work so i want to get rid of it.

i went to the unistall option and pressed unistall. i came up "access denied"

i checked in the file manager and theres nothing in there to do with agile messenger.

its 325kb and i want to free up some space

any ideas

assuming you installed it to the c drive, did you look into c:\system\apps for the agilemessenger folder?

before doing it that way though you should turn your phone off and on and try to uninstall using the uninstall option again

but before doing even that you might like to investigate why it didn't work for you as it works fine for me. for example were you connecting with a wap connection? if so then it won't work, you need an internet connection

well having many problems trying to get hotmail through opera. i have decide it must be my settings so i have deleted all user accounts and im going to start again.

on the o2 site there is a choice of 3 types of settings:

- o2 active
- o2 wap gprs
- o2 basic wap

i decided to download the settings for all 3. before i got rid of my previous settings i could get onto opera and onto mobile.msn.com but when i typed my username and password it took ages and then came up with "could not connect to remote server". is that because i had the wrong settings. if so which out of the 3 i have downloaded should i use to get hotmail through opera. also do i need to transfer the info from my internet accounts to my wap accounts in the control panel.

masseur how do i check the c:drive, were do i go to see it.

ill try turning my phone off

thanks

I use the file manager in SMan to view folders that the built in file manager doesn't let you see.

I don't know much about o2 but certainly the two wap data accounts you mention won't do it for you because you do need to use an internet GPRS data account rather than a WAP GPRS data account and these are quite different things. if o2 active is also a wap data account then I don't know what to suggest but alot of people here use o2 so perhaps someone else can help

thanks. i know o2 offer a mobileweb service maybe thats what i need, who knows.

if i need gprs settings does that mean i wont be able to use java msn or any other viewer apps like hotviewer ?

i was thinking of moving to a different network anyway as o2 customer service havent a clue, perhaps thats the answer. although im a bit reluctant to give up my free 300 txts lol

i have mymail which works fine so ill just have to stick with that

thanks anyway
