> T68 prematurely completes IR Sync
Bookmark topic
Hi!
I have read through the forum to see if anyone has had the same problems as I do, but haven't found an exact match.
I try to sync my contacts from Outlook to my T68 using the T68 software suite. Everything works OK initially, and on screen I can I see it syncing my contacs. But suddenly, before all contacts are sync'ed, the T68 says sync complete and terminates the sync process. However, it does this before all contacs are actually sync'ed. I have 61 contacs I want to sync down to the T68, but I never manage to get them all. I get a randon number of contacs, so far a maximum of 43.
I have lowered the bitrate to 9.600bps. I use Windows XP Prof. with Outlook 2000. As it is the phone that terminates, I suspect something is wrong in that end...
TIA

I once had the same problem;
It was solved by doing :
a check of the available memory in the phone (enough space left ?)
If this is the case
Delete all contacts from the phone
retry
It helped with me

Thanks for the fast reply. However, it does not seem to be the problem. I have done just as you suggested, with no success...

Hi,
This could be a 'known' XP/NT issue. Have you tried to lower your buffer (fifo) speed of your com-ports...
This can help. It does with some Palm-devices.

I had the same problem with Xp Pro and Win2K (I tried both) and Office XP. I mailed

and they said they dont support XP yet, but I dont think its an XP problem I think its a problem with the drivers. We'll have to wait for the next s/w release thats properly for the T68.
