I just bought the phone 2 days ago and i found out that the keypad light should be white, mine though is pinkish (alot),i included a pic but it doesnt tell much. What could be the prob?the keypad or the leds?.It seems like my webcam shows it alot whiter than it is..maybe my eyes are deceiving me ot something?

any help appreciated

is it really such a problem? I noticed it when I got the phone a few months back but hadn't thought about it at all again until this thread

the backlight does its job perfectly well

maybe you should go into a shop and check out a couple of others for comparison

im going to the shop in 3 hours or so and i will compare it with others..the problem is that it is very pink, especially in the dark..and considering that the keypad takes 1/2 of the front of the phone its terribly annoying, for some odd reason my webcam can not take a correct picture of it.I made a color in paint quite close to it.As i said i had the same prob with my 8210 and i was furious..after close examination i figured that some of the LEDs werent white but pinkish (like defective white ones not pink on purpose)and i am afraid this could be prob with my new phone ,do you think i could get a replacement for the leds or the phone?

before being as radical as changing the LEDs, if you find another T630 at the shop you bought this one from which doesn't have the same problem (or is not so bad) then you could try and convince them yours if faulty and get them to swap the whole phone I guess

when i bought it they only had one more t630,i hope its still there and i hope the leds are crystal clear white im gonna swear the shit out of them...damn i wasnt this mad when i modified my 8210lamps cause it was done by some non professional dude and some fault was expected but buying a new phone with 8 defective leds or a whole keypad is something totally different..dammit the phones in the old days had quality, these new models are full of defects and bugs..i want my 8210 back..too bad its busted

I think im right in saying that white leds will produce a pink/ reddish tinge when too much power is applied to them, so perhaps this is an issue with a lot of t630s? A manufacturing fault perhaps...

too much power applied to them? i only charged once with the charger and it said optimized charging..well theres a reason to say optimized right?anw the leds were like that since i bought the mob but i didnt know they were supposed to be white, anw the prob may be in the keypad and not the leds..who knows..the only thing sure is that in an hour or so im gonna go and yell at them hard..
