has anyone any experience
I want to make dialup connection over gsm network from my laptop to my homecomp..
so the desktop is dialup server and my laptop is client..
I speciffically want to use gsm band.. so it should be mobile-mobile

it works better with a fixed line at home but it should be possible.this is the easy way:
enable file and printer sharing on pc an laptop and select the folders you want to share, or share it all to get access to the whole pc. Install dailupserver on the PC (configurationscreen>communication>dailupserver)and set this prog (it must be running to eneble you to dailup)
create a dailup connection on the laptop to you home pc (with the mobile number)
The phones must be data-enabled otherwise the phone will not regonize the datacall and will handle it as a voice call, so the 'handshake' will faill
you must set both PC and laptop to the network, go to configurationscreen>network>indentification here you set the computernames like 'laptop' and 'home pc' Make sure the PC and laptop are set to the same Workgroup
now dailup to the home pc, just select the dailup connection to home pc,
When there's a connection, select and open the 'network area' on your desktop to browse the shared folders on your home PC (you will see a icon named 'home pc' doubleclick on it and you get access to the shared folders)
