Got this back from an enquiry to them
Dear Steve,
Thank you for your email.
Vodafone are selling the Sony Ericsson T630 with different software to that of Sony Ericsson, the handset will be pre-loaded with the Vodafone Live version of software. The My Friends feature is not a feature within the menu structure of the software on the Vodafone Live version of the handset, therefore the option will not be available for customers to use.
