Why do web designers ignore web standards and design their sites for MS internet explorer!!? Opera is a fantastic browser... way ahead of MSie yet I'm unable to open some sites that 'require ie 5.0 or above'!!
I love surfing with my P800, but the main purpose was keep in contact with my University as i'm often in places with no internet access. The web site is called 'Blackboard' and u can't log in with Opera no matter how may times u tap the login button....Any ideas?

MS has the most commonly used browser. So most thing are catered for this. Ask the webmaster to make an xhtml or wml version for mobile users

Is ur gprs access internet or wap? Mine is wap so I couldnt login but I "stored" all thouse cookies surfing first with pc connection, now all is fine

I have the same problems when l try to login on the blackboard site,sometimes it works tho.
I use blackboard for the same reason as you do. Because all the communication with my university goes through the blackboard website and l don't have an internetconnection in my room
