> strange messaging problems

has anyone else has problems with their sms and mms? Its a strange problem that for some numbers I can't reply to their sms directly, it fails to send the msg and dumps it in the outbox and then doesnt send either how. But if you copy the txt and paste the txt in to create a new msg then it sends fine! The number of the contact are the same and even if you change the contacts info with that in your contacts list it still fails when you reply directly. This also happens with my mms as well! But my mms has been strange any how in that I can send it but the other person doesnt recieve it!

Is your phone a P800. I remember reading here that there is a bug issue with a particualr firmware of p800 which causes the phone to crash this might be related to that and hence a firmware update might solve it
EDIT: About the MMS have you tried sending it ot different people it may be that the person who is receiving don't have MMS mesaging enabled on his/her phone.

oops forgot to say its the P900! It doesnt do it for all contacts just a certain few. And its nothing to do with the network the person on either as it works for some on the same network.

I have the same problem with one of my mates numbers. Definetly a network issue I've been told by vodafone. Glitch in the system?
As you said, I just start a new sms when texting her.
