When i try to send sms/mms or type text anywhere else on the phone, i can`t use the keyboard function, i can only write letters directly on the screen, so when i want to answer an sms, i often send a blank message, because when i try to press the keyboard function, it wont work, and it automaticly sends the sms instead. I`ve tried rebooting the phone but that won`t work. Anyone else with similar problem?

Tnx for help

so let me get this straight you want the virtual keyboard to pop up you tap reply then the virtual key board then the mesage is sent.....er are you sure?

have you removed the flip is the flip open? are you tapping send or the squareish icon that is on the bottom bar near the signal icon?

@simmy
Welcome to Esato

It seems like you need to calibrate the screen the send button and the small key board icon are fairly close and the screen is picking the wrong impluse.
Assuming you have a P900 go to control panel>display>Screen (tab on the bottom) and then click calibrate screen. If your phone is a P800 it will be somewere similar in the control panel can't remember. Let us know what happened.

No, when i get an sms, and want to reply, i open up the flip, so i can use "the virtual keyboard thingy", cause i like that one better. But nothing happends when i press the keyboard icon, it`s like it won`t activate, and when i try to press it, it sends the message instead. u see what i mean?

@simmy

I am sorry I don't understand do you mean you have problem with the virtual key board only when you try to reply?
Have you tried calibrating the screen?

Go to Control Panel then Display the Calibrate Screen & follow the instructions.
Also try in Control Panel then Text Input, move right to the 2nd tab & check if 'Virtual Keyboard (Standard)' is selected.

Try these checks then let us know if ur still having trouble
