> T68i falls while others remain sticky!
Bookmark topic
The SIM-FREE price of the T68i falls yet again to £339.58 inc VAT (mphone.co.uk), a 10% fall from its last downwardly revision from mphone.co.uk about 2 weeks ago. Other prices remain stickym such as T100 and V70 despite, their over-hyped presence. The T68 is now valued higher than the T68i, as predicted by myself. T68m stocks have probably dried up, but stocks still remain with some retailers and suppliers. In some cases, upwardly price revisions for T68m SIM free have taken place (expansys.com).
As the T68i is effectlively not a new phone, it is virtually at least 7 months old, courtesy of the T68. This coupled with extra pressures from its colour compertitures, will put downwards pressure on its price at a fast rate. Expect the the T68i to hit the £300 mark mid-july, the latest, while the T100 should remain priced higher, desipite its inferiority.

A possible explanation for the T68i's downwards price flexibility could be that this is a mass product. Sonyericsson learned about the excess demand the T68m had and restricted supply, that kept the prices so rigid for so many months. The T68i is probably being mass produced eliminating any excess demand, allowing prices to become more downwardly flexible in the short and long terms.
Of course, while the T68m was very profitable to stock and as few were supplied with so many times demand, the T68i will loose is value much more quicky and will be more risky to hold in stock for sale or buy and use, then sell!

Well the Z5 and T39 are not produced anymore and have lost their values and will not fall further. The Z5 is not stocked anymore in most stores and the T39 only on orange and one2one mainly. T39 will not fall more than an average of £165
