I recently scratched up my screen. Not sure how but its there and very noticeable. Can the screen be replaced and if so how? Also is there anything besides the cloth they give you that you can use to clean the p900 like something that would remove a smudge?

Thanks

i used to have heaps of scratches on my p800. I found that putting on a screen protector hides all these scratches as well as guarding against further damage

i also experienced the same thing where screen protector actually does hide all minor scratches so why dont you give it a try, at least its a much cheaper solution.... i think it will cost you in the neighbourhood of US$ 200 to replace the screen at se service center.

the screen can probably be replaced at your nearest SE service centre, but you will have to pay for it since they won't accept it under warranty just because you got careless (in their opinion). i don't really have any idea how much though.

you can buy screen protectors for the P9 - Martin Fields is one of a few.

i got a pack of 10 palm screen protectors, for a cheap price, but last about a month each, and just cut them to size with a craft knife. and for the smudges, a small drop of lighter fluid on some lint free cloth (as used on classic cars) This message was posted from a P900

martin fields happens to be the best in my opinion. Its the right size, it lasts for eternity and its washable and reusable.
