Visa says they’re working on a credit cards with tiny screens that would let you see a record of your recent transactions, bank balances, and even the local currency rates when you’re shopping overseas. Still a few years away, though, since they still haven’t figured out how to make a credit card with a screen that doesn’t break too easily.

maybe OLED will be the answer as that is supposed to be able to be made to flex

I am reminded of a little organiser I had a few years back called the REX which was credit card size and not much thicker either

Xircom bought it from Franklin and made a second generation one with a touch screen, and it was perfectly sturdy, so I'm sure Visa can do something similar

Visa has started the Wave Visa card in Malaysia. To complete a transaction, just wave the card in front of the card reader. NO signature is required. A card with a screen is a cool idea though. This message was posted from a P800
