Is it possible to make the alarm sound when the phone is off?
I can only seem to get it to alarm when the phone is on? Only i want to leave my phone off overnight and have an alarm in the morning.

no mate, this is a question that has been asked over and over since the P800 came out but still it doesn't work on the P900 either.
The best you can do is turn the phone to flight mode if you don't want calls coming in during the night

This doesn`t really affact charging does it? Only i know we get a better charge if the phones off....
Spose i can always give it a good "off" charge when i don`t need the alarm.....

Def reckon that the 'FLIGHT MODE' os the way around the problem.
As for charging it whilst off... 'fraid no help there.

It's really not so bad charging it wild it's on. It's like it will damage it or make the battery last any longer. I see no reason for not just letting it charge while on all night. I do this wit my t610 every night.
