I think You need to give some more info,..e.g. what Windows-version are You using ?
What sort of picture are you trying to transfer ? Is it the right size/format.

On T68i it can be gif, jpg or wbmp or animated gif.
Jpg can be 640 x 480,..gif can be 160 x 120 I believe.
If You're to use it as background-image, stick with the standardsize 101 x 80,...and in 256 colors/indexed.

You dont usually need a program when using infrared on e.g. Win 98/ME. The normal/standard windows drivers will work.
Just turn it on, and rightclick the image,...in the menu there will be a point called something like "send to infrared".

One thing you do need to look at, is the speed of your infrared,..it should be SIR (seriel infrared) at 9600 per sec.

I'm using Win ME too, works fine.

What exactly are you trying to transfer,..please write picture-info :
size w x h, kb, colors (how many).

When pointing the two infrared eyes at each other,..turn infrared ON in the T68i,...then You should get a pop-up message on the pc-screen saying that :
"contact with T68 have been established".

Do you get a message like that ?

If you do,..IR-contact is ok.

Then you should be able to right-click the backgroundpicture you wanna send,..and the roll-down menu will have a :
"send to infrared recipient"

Does this message appear in the roll down menu ?

I get the exact same problem. Using window me. If i try and send to the phone the wireless link stops responding for a time and then i get a filed to connect message.

The Image editor program of sony erricosson (version 1.2.0) never manages to make contact with the phone

the phone monitor program doesn't list the IR port in the com list ( its on com 5)

and how do i lower the baud rate of the IR in windows ME as i can't see it anywhere

and one last thing... this all doesn't work on my laptop which has XP instead.

(if you could email me an answer as well that'd help.. i tend to loose forum threads and forget i posted)
