i loved this mobile.. i love sony ericsson but the thing that my file manager doesnt identify my p900 makes me go crazy.. i updated the firmware version.. still the camera has a line throught it.. the mobi gives errors.. but Y CANT MY p900 file manager identify the fone when the EPOCWARE file manager can.. i have chacked everything told on forums.. wt to do,... plz help.. and ONE MORE THING>.. SONYERICSSON sites .. y do we hav to download the theme via wap.. yyyyyyyy..y not we can download it..

guys plz help me with the File manager thing.. always sez not connected.. reinstalled the software as well.. and plz temme if still u get the camera line .. i have upgraded to the latest Firmware.. thanks

This really should have been in the P800/P900 forum, you would probably have gotten more help, more quickly.
The camera problem is almost certainly a firmware issue. All I can suggest is that you follow the advice already given and take your phone to be flashed.
The file manager problem is a connection problem, something that has been discussed numerous times. I would first of all suggest that you go back and make sure you have covered all the basic things:

1.) Is the synch station is plugged into your PC?
2.) If you use a firewall, then disable it.
3.) If you use antivirus software, then disable it.
4.) Are you using the most recent software? If not, download the most recent version from the sonyericsson website.
5.) Have you set up your phone using the synch station wizard?

You haven't stated which operating system you use, if it is Windows XP then make sure you have Service Pack 1 installed.

If you still can't get your P900 to connect properly then I suggest you uninstall the synch station software and reinstall it, then set up your phone again.
If this doesn't solve the problem and you are using Windows, then I suggest reinstalling Windows; another chap on Esato was having similar trouble to you and I believe that he had to reinstall Windows before he managed to get his P900 to connect properly.
