Hi all, don't want to bore, but after having searched for hours I have to ask:

Is there a memory stick duo select (2x128 MB=256 MB) out somewhere to buy?

So far I have only found information on a memory stick select (no DUO!) which will of course not work with my P900.

TIA

Duo is a little bit smaller than the first stick they made. I think this duo-card is to small, and then its difficult to make the switch. But on the SD-card they managed to make the write protection-switch. SD and MSDuo looks the same size, but only a little bit thinner.

I've never seen or even heard of a Duo version of this so it think it's unlikely but hey, you never know and it would be very useful.

P900 use a memory stick duo. Digital camcorder and digital still camera use the original Memory Stick.

That would not help. U cant get the converter inside the P900 MSDuo slot though. I think what barbarella ment, are that he would buy a MSDuo 2x128Mb that he can use for his P900. Because P900 only support 128Mb cards. Then if he had a MSDuo 2x128 with a switch, he would get a 256Mb card. The original MS has this feature.

Get two Memory Sticks® in one! Memory Stick® Select Media features two 128MB memory compartments in one stick, giving you a grand total of 256MB storage capacity! Best of all, you can change from one compartment to another with a simple flip of a switch. It’s perfect for people who use their memory for multiple functions, or for older devices that can only use Memory Stick® media up to 128MB.

@~lozishere~
I see!

But...There is a but... If there will be a MSDuo with switch. You still gonna take it out of the phone, and then do the change of storage... Why not buy two cards at 128Mb. This way you would not loose everything if the card got broke. U still got the otherone.

It would just be more convenient to have 2x128MB in one stick instead of having to carry another one loose.
