The LG U8110 (also known as the LG-8110) one of the most compact, lightweight 3G phones to date, coming in at a little more than the size and weight of a standard GSM clamshell.

There's a bright, 65,000 colour screen with a resolution of 176x220 pixels on the inside, and the U8110 sports a VGA resolution camera with a digital zoom on the outside, capable of talking both still and video pictures.

The U8110 supports Java for games, plays MP3 files and can be connected to a PC using a USB cable or through infra-red.

LG has designed the U8110 to support streaming video, web browsing, email, multimedia messaging and so much more.

Available exclusively on the Hutchison 3 network, the LG-8100 is an attractive handset that won't break the bank - or your back! LG have concentrated on keeping the size and price down, while still packing in all the 3G features you'd expect.

In just a month, LG's U8110 has topped 3G's handset sales in UK.

The group, which is battling to gain momentum since leading the launch of third-generation (3G) mobile videophones in Europe last year, said a handset made by South Korea's LG Electronics had become its top-selling phone in just one month.

"It is our best-selling handset at the moment in the UK," a spokesman told a monthly conference call, adding that 3 UK had played its part in helping Hutchison boost 3G customers across the world by 66 percent to 1.73 million in nine weeks to May 21.
Hutchison has ordered three million handsets from LG by the end of the year, which it is selling in its 3G businesses in Britain, Italy, Sweden and Australia.

The keypad is fabulous, very easy to use, very tidy. Menu system is great too. Not a bad phone, but no bluetooth and a couple of "cheapo" things (its spraypainted silver) take the shine off it. ahem. Maybe im being too particular after having px00s
