When you are on camera, in good lighting conditions. You take a photo and the phone does that weird thing where theres a quick between the last viewfinder frame and the actual photo shown.

Have you noticed how much better the preview pic looks than the photo? I dont know what it is, but i bet its the compression, which looks pretty bad

It might be to do with the camera trick.do a search for a t610 camera trick thread im on wap so i cant give it. After taking the photo keep pressing the joystick until its saved and if everything around where it says saved goes black them it has worked. The pic will be of a higher quality and be smaller in size so it takes up less space

I have noticed that problem with the T630 & I think it's even worse on the T610.
The Camera trick definately works & gives a slightly better pic but only the last one will stay in small size, all others get bigger as they're not compressed.

The phone compresses pics from the cam.
The trick prevents the phone compressing its pics & so preserves quality but also the pic is still of the compressed size!
This part with the size only works on one pic because the next time u use the trick the new pic is of compressed size & good quality but the previous pic returns to it's full/uncompressed size.

I hope that's clear. If not feel free to ask again

Mik

I see, so its like a buffer? And i have to send that pic to a PC or another phone or something so that i can use up another better quality pic?

You can use it as many times as u want & u can keep all the pics on ur phone and all will be of higher quality but only the most recent one will be smaller in size. All previous pics become larger.

It's hard to explain really!

I suppose the size is not really smaller. Probably the phone thinks it has compressed the image and gives you the size the pic should have if it was compressed. This message was posted from a T610
