my new p900 seems to be quick in losing its charge, is this normal with new batteries? =(
this is with moderate use, mostly on sms and pda functions..

It's not an appetizer, it's a staple :-D! And i think most rechargable batteries have a break in period...

Tips to improve battery life:
1. Run down until you have 10 - 15% left and charge overnight
2. Use Sman or similar to reduce the number of background tasks
3. Don't have GPRS attached permenantly, set to GSM mode so that GPRS is only attached when needed
4. Turn on BT only when you need it
5. Minimise the use of memory resident apps like Tracker
