I'm new to bluetooth...just wanna confirm something:

Is it normal that the bluetooth headset remains connected at all time or does it disconnect and goes to discovery mode when the call is ended? Mine remains connected all the time.

No it's not normal to remain connected all the time. Are you connecting the headset after you turn it on - you don't need to.
