Just been on Ebay and notice a rather nice Black cover for my P800, can I how easy it is to replace the cover? do I need a screwdriver or anything?

answers would be much appreciated.

i have only removed the plastic facia above the removable battery cover so that i could remove dust from the mesh of the external speaker. too scared to remove anything else. i dont want loads of spare parts when i put it back together again.

Undo all four screws using a torx T8 screwdriver. Then there's two clips on the inside, either side of the memory stick slot. Jab something in there and unhook them, then its as easy as pie.

Neither of the p800's I have modded have ever had screws holding in the motherboard... what are you talking about? There is only the 4 on the outside of the housing. T8's

Ive just attemted to change the cover on my P800, all seemed ok but ive found a minor(major!) problem. When i make a call there is about a 5 second delay before i hear the ringing in the earpiece. Has anyone experienced this, and maybe know what i may not have reconnected properly?

Thanks for any info.

Is there any where you can get instructions on how to do this ? as its states on the ebay item that it does not come with instructions.

Any help greatly appreciated
